THE COMMITMENT
Irish Taylor & Co embodies the vision of the Irish and Taylor families who lived in India since the late 1800s, committed to delivering quality services to customers since the 1940s in India. Irish Contractors, a construction business in Bangalore, India was established by our principal consultant's grandfather, Reginald Irish. After he died in the mid-1960s, it was single-handedly run by Ida Irish, a widow and single mother of three daughters at that time in Bangalore, India. Towards the end of the 1980s, Ida Irish decided to wind up Irish Contractors. Sad to see the business being shut down, our principal consultant, Jeremy Taylor around 7 years old at that time, made a promise to his grandmother that one day in the future, he will build a company with the name ‘Irish’ in it. 34 years later, in May 2021, Irish Taylor & Co was incorporated in Australia, and within a few months, Irish Taylor was incorporated in India and the USA.
A manifestation of a commitment made by a 7-year-old boy to his grandmother. Irish Taylor & Co is a commitment to a cause – to be of value to clients, associates, and our team. As a consulting company, we advise on technology solutions across a variety of industries. We build on our foundations from education, healthcare, construction, agri-business, rural development, international charities, business development, and technology innovation.
We aim to create value in all our services. Some value creation takes months, years, or generations to build. In a company like Irish Taylor & Co, it is not about individual achievements, it is about the collective value creation that we offer to clients. Internally, colleagues at Irish Taylor & Co are encouraged to be constructive - giving rather than receiving in a collaborative manner.
